the security certificate has expired or is not yet valid (need help with this)

this message shows up when im on the web.

the information you exhchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. however there is aproblem with site's security certificate.

the security certificate is from a thrusted certifying authority.

the security certificate has expired or is not yet valid.

the security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.

Do you want to proceed?

yes/no/view certificate

when i click on view certificate it says that it expired or is not yed valid.

and most often when I click on yes about 15 of those messages show up.

does anyone get this, what do I do with it.

 

Does it only show up on certin web sights or every page that you go to? Also check the date on your computer. See if the year is correct. If the computer thinks it is way in the future or past it will give you this message.

the date was one year off, maybe that was it. and it shows up on different pages, it just showed up here, it also likes to show up on ebay.com and yahoo.com and others thanks for the date hint I will wait and see if that was it.
