Hi a friend of mine has been trying to play 1 of the sims games and receives the following message

    Sim town-Fatal error
Not enough memory to run sim town try these:
1-close all applications and try again.
    2-Increase window's swap file.

his pc is 1.8ghz P4 with 1gb ram,i do not know about GPU but should not be a problem(i also think he had it running b4 upgrading to win xp)

he gets the same message on a different pc whivh is a 3ghz with 1gb RAM

    any ideas?

surley with the amount of RAM presant virtual memory should not even be an issue?

Hmm...not much ya can do there buddy.
but...what graphic card is he running becuase with some of the NIVIDIA serious and some radeon serious, the sims doesnt work...
But i can tell you this, if he upgrade his computer from a later version of windows to a newer version of windows it isnt going to work.
