I have been burning video files for awhile now and there is something I don't really understand and was hoping to get some help. Sometimes the movie or video file I burn is extremely quiet on playback. I can turn the volume on my TV or surround system (depending on which room I am trying to watch it) all the way up and still have lousy sound quality. For a little more information, I normally use Nero 8 to burn my videos. If I burn a .divx video file, it is usually the movie that I have the most trouble with being too quiet. However, when I burn an ISO file it works perfectly. I wasn't sure if maybe it was a setting in Nero or the actual video file. Any help would be appreciated. I also have DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter if either of those programs could help.
You can try this in Nero Vision: after you load the file, on the window 'Right Click' on the title and 'Edit'. On the Edit window, right click on the video in the time track and select 'Properties';an audio menu pops up where you can bump the volume .
