I'm not that great with technology so here it goes. Ok so I have a new 32' widescreen with hdtv that I bought. So I decided to buy component cables for my nintendo wii. Then when I changed the screen resolution on the wii it splits my tv screen in half. I dont understand whats going on. This also happens when I put my dvd player in progressive scan. I get very confused with all these new cables and what not. Im pretty much use to AV cables but I wanted a better resolution. Please help
what tv model do you have? it's probably due to the ratio you're choosing with your remote.. you're able to change your hdtv to different dimensions.
