there must be one out there

so here is what i have being thinking about for 8 years. ever since i released usb can do what it can do. so here is what i am wondering. is there a system out there that is no more then just a simple system that takes in a usb (external hard drive) (usb stick) (what not) and puts out a composite, (white red yellow) to my tv or hdtv what ever, but this is what i need to know is there something out there similar to that or what not?? and i'm not talking about buying a xbox a ps3. so let me know.

Depends on the formats you want. I have seen some $50 DVD players with USB ports for video files and such.

 

I have a dvd player with USB ports.think it cost a bit more than $50 got it last year as a birthday present.

 

I have actualy seen them cheaper than $50...at that evil, Nazi-run store called Walmart...but I would rather pay a few bucks more to go to a good store run by non-facists.
