Thinking of putting your new drive in an enclosure? Here is a pretty good solution!

I did some research as far as what is the best thing you can get for a really great price. Then I ran into this particular 5.25 external enclosure!

One of the things that worried me is if my disks were able to burn without problems while the drive was sideways. I have done about 3 burns already and none of them had any errors. The drive is pretty quiet as well as it is. Let me know what you think guys or gals.

This ain't spam, stop being a jerk dude. There might be people out there who may still be looking for an external enclosure for the max-burn compatible dvd drives. If you have one and you are satisfied with what you have then I respect that.If you were not aware of, this forum does discusses anything with modding. This enclosure so happens to be related to a device that we are currently using to make backup copies of xbox 360 games. Those backup copies are loaded to a modden xbox 360.

Have you never used an external case before? This thread is retarded. I thought by the title of the thread you had a clever idea that was a cheap way to make an external enclosure but come to find you are interested in buying an enclosure and are asking for advice. you need to reword your title and put this in the PC building threads.

Wiiman the way you worded the post does make it seem spammy.

By the way, any 5.25" sata enclosure will work.

    moved to correct forum.

Wiiman, edit your title as it does sound spammy. an ide enclosure does the same thing as sata enclosure.
