I did some research as far as what is the best thing you can get for a really great price. Then I ran into this particular 5.25 external enclosure! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003SNJ9XU One of the things that worried me is if my disks were able to burn without problems while the drive was sideways. I have done about 3 burns already and none of them had any errors. The drive is pretty quiet as well as it is. Let me know what you think guys or gals.

If you have one and you are satisfied with what you have then I respect that.If you were not aware of, this forum does discusses anything with modding. This enclosure so happens to be related to a device that we are currently using to make backup copies of xbox 360 games. Those backup copies are loaded to a modden xbox 360.
Have you never used an external case before? This thread is retarded. I thought by the title of the thread you had a clever idea that was a cheap way to make an external enclosure but come to find you are interested in buying an enclosure and are asking for advice. you need to reword your title and put this in the PC building threads.
