Hello. I am trying to fix a problem with a thinkpad laptop for a friend (OS = WiondowsXP) and I am having some problems with it. The problem is that when the notebook is plugged in, everything functions fine and it shuts down without a problem but when the power cord is removed and it is running from the battery pack, on shutdown it goes into a boot loop. I was wondering if anyone has a solution or can point me in the right direction on what may be the problem. Thanks
