I just installed a Sony DW-G120A DVD RW internal drive in my Compaq Presario SR1710NX that has an AMD Sempron Chip (relatively new computer that works fine) and I get a pop up window that reads: Title: Drive Not Ready Body: The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed. That error just pops up at random and the drive door is closed. Something I did notice is if you go to My Computer and look at the icon for the DVD RW drive, it reads DVD RAM Drive. Not sure if that's a problem. It shouldn't just be a RAM drive? I have been reading through some fixes on here and none of the updates or anything have worked. I am a decent computer user and I have had no luck with this one. Please help.
