was reading someone's person guide - the guide by pete - I can't find it on here but its here its about how to use shrink and decrypter to burn a DVD - the last paragraph of it Says " Now, take just a second and under "target device" go to "select target device" once there , select "ISO Disc IMAGE" WHICH program is he referring to!! ?? can anyone tell me
Pete is referring to DVD Shrink. You will find a "select target device" drop down menu on the target device tab after you select "Backup!" ISO disc image is one of three options available using the later versions of Shrink.
The important question to ask is what version of DVD Shrink are you using? I don't believe the ISO option became available until later - 3.1+ in version iirc. To grab the newer versions of DVD Shrink go to http://www.dvdshrink.info and click the Downloads link at the top. They also have a pretty nice guides section on their website as well.
damn now it says i don''t have enough space for the required iso image burning - any ideas ? 4.463 mb required 1.382 is what i have
So you need more room... In Win explorer: Try right clicking on the drive letter you intend to put your temp folder in and select propertys. There should be a pie chart. You need to have the room avalible on the drive or its not gonna work.
If that is your hard drive it is time to delete some things or get a much bigger drive. Are there movies on there that you have copied? If so, remove them to create some room. Hogan
ok - i'll remove some stuff - also according to pete's guide here do i need two drives ? one DVD/cd rom and the DVD burner to do this ? Because I've got the files backed up VIDEO_TS files - can I just decrypter to burn now as if completing the second step ? any instructiosn on that ? thanks eeryone!
Hi camrating, If you just have a burner installed and no DVD ROM, you can still use Decrypter to burn your Shrink created ISO image files. Open Decrypter and then click on "Mode", then select: ISO> Write W Now use the "please select a file" prompt to go find the ISO. To start the burn, put in your blank media and then just click on the icon that looks like a disc with an arrow pointing at a burner. Cheers, Frank
Why can't they read the damn thing - I have updated the guide by including the link for the newest DVD Shrink and LASTLY, after mentioning the 2 drives I have typed "IN ENGLISH" - Oooohhh boy is de ScubaPete tired - Pete (Fas - talk ta ya in 5, cig first)
