Thoughts for a new DVD Burner?!

    Hi all, I just wanted to get some basic thoughts on some LiteOn DVD burners. I need one with bit-setting, etc. I have a plextor now in one of my machines, but I don't feel like spending another $100.00 + for another one.

    Can anyone tell me a good LiteOn model that works good?

    hi i have an external lite on SOHW 1633 (8X) & internal SOHW1693 (16X) these are excellent burners in my experience & are a good price. i have 100's of sucessful burns with both burners & have a very high sucess rate. my opinion - buy it.

    Thanks for the replies. Is this a Dual Layer 8.5? GB drive?
