Thumb drives protection software

    Is there any software that you can install on a thumb drive so when you double click it in my computer or try to open it you need to enter a password also stop you formatting it don’t need to encrypt the contents just stop access cheers for any advice

    You should look into U 3 thumb drives..
    they come with lots of built in software, and if a password is not installed for you to use im sure you will be able to download one from a 3rd party
