tivo to dvdr05

    Is there some sort of protection on the tivo series2 that prevents you from being able to use the save to vcr and record to dvd
    ? any help is appreciated thanks

    I know that the series 2's encode the stream with the media key when you use the TivoToGo option with the standard system software. Now, I'm not sure if it does the same thing when you use the save to DVD, but that might be another 'feature' of the DMR.
