Hi, Does anybody know of a better authoring tool where you can customise the menu's I know that TMpeg Author is an excellent peice of software i just feel that the menu choices (background colour, layout) are a little dull. Any info would be greatly appreciated

TMPG DVD Author version 1.5 menu structures ARE customisable. you can change the following: [bold]BASIC LAYOUT[/bold] There are 15 basic layouts, each with 2 variations, each of the elements of the layout is customisable with respect to font, size, colour, position, style etc. [bold]BACKGROUND[/bold] Have any still picture you want (BMP, JPG, JPEG, PSD) Have any movie clip you want (MPG, M1V, M2V, M2P) and the animation sequence time can be as long or as short as you want. [bold]FONTS[/bold] Pick the font you want to use, any colour, any size, any position, if it on your computer, you can use it. [bold]THUMBNAILS[/bold] Can be static images or animation clip, any size, multiple styles, any position (same choice range as for background) [bold]SOUND[/bold] You can even have a sound clip with the background animation (part of the file). [bold]AUTOPLAY[/bold] You can choose how the menu reacts when first started, and how it reacts on other events. So, how much customisation functionality do you want? The above are only what I found after about 15 minutes of playing with it, creating & testing. There may be more I did not discover in that time.
