    Hi all,

It has been awhile since I've posted and hope use can help as you usually do.

I'm trying to convert my avi to mpeg2 using TMPGENC 3.0 Xpress 3.0.4.24, but i'm getting an error "Buffer Overrun Detected!"

Then it states that it cannot open the video part of the movie, only the audio can be opened. " I am pretty sure it is an audio problem though"

I open the avi in Virtual Dub Mod and get a warning " VDM has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the avi file....Then states it wants to rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values for better compatibility......

I have tried this but VDM throws a few frames in the beginning of my output file that says "WARNING: NOTHING TO OUTPUT
    BFRAME DECODER LAG"
and it's throwing off my audio/video sinc.

I have tried just saving the audio as a .wav file but it gets freezes/skipps when i play it and real player says "cummunicating %99" when it acts up.

So it seems my prob is more than I thought, if anyone has a way to do this, please let me know.

I usually use TMPGenc 3.0 Xpress to convert to mpeg2, then use TMPGenc DVD Author 1.6 to output my DVD files w/ my homemade menus... All of which works great for me. It's just that sometimes the audio part in certain avi's have prevented this, such as fixing AC3 audio w/ besliced.. and this problem that I'm stumped with...

    Thanks again guys.
