    tmpgenc 3.0 express. wmv -> mpeg2 * 30

    Im looking to set up a batch processing for multiple wmv's - my goal is to encode them with the same settings for output to seperate mpg files of the same filename prefix. I would have expected a batch encoder to allow me to point to a folder and specify settings and go... Not what I get, of course. After adding each file seperately to the batch by using the "register to batch" button on the "encode" tab, I then go to output for each and see that it is set to the same file for all of them.

    This doesn't seem like an intelligent solution and im hoping that im just missing some obvious option.

    Your expertise and help are appreciated,

    John

    hrm, apparently i chose the wrong forum, Thought I picked this one. My apologies.

    I figured out what I needed to do. Add all the files to the main UI instead of the batch UI and then specify to create separate files - usually reserved for splitting out the video and audio in to separate files but it does the trick here.

    thanks
