When you get TMPGEnc, if you get it in a zipped file, do you properly use the extract function or just drag the files out??

Look in your TMPGEnc folder and do you see the two files P3package.dll and P4package.dll???

ealier message is probably correct, you are not extracting ALL the files into a directory. Maybe just extracting the exe? Make sure to extract the dll files into the same directory.

Okay if its an older version of TMOGENC you are probably trying to use the file froma shortcut, dont do that. Just unzip to a folder, and run the exe from there.

Or,YOU NEED CODECS. Find and download Nimo Codecs package and AngelPotion codecs. Thats it thats all.

The nimo codec pack and the angelpotion codec??? are you mad??

the nimo installs too many codecs leading to conflicts sometimes.

the angelpotion, makes you movies purple and pink on occasion!!

Dont believe me, ask or search around the forum!

I dont have to ask anything in the forum. When I need to know somehting theres usually no one who can answer my questions. And no, Nimo doesnt load to many codecs, it just epends on what you're doing, like encoding a da** avi to mpeg, you have to have codecs, nimo is one of the easiest, and contrary to your spewing, best that you can find. i threw Angelpotion in there in case he couldnt find nimo. And if you had ever encoded MPEGS you might know something about a P3Package error. And I remember SEVERAL links to Nimo codecs pack right here at afterdawn, so get a life.

ROTFLMFAO, Sorry man but ive encoded a few hundred movies to mpeg at this stage and as always, getting the individual codes is better than a codec pack and the angelpotion codec is a load of shit :p

I'd go with Dela on this one! NIMO sucks, and AngelPotion is a hack of the DivX codec, causes nothing but trouble!

Personaly, I install Kristal Studio Codec Pack and DivX and XviD, and I haven't had a single problem with any movie, in playback or encoding.

On a last note, the P3Package error, just means he is missing that DLL from his TMPGEnc, i'd strongly advice at re-downloading it and installing it correctly.
