I'm using TDA vesion 1.6 and have created a DVD with 5 seperate tracks of home video.

I am creating a new menu scheme and have everything as I want apart from one thing.

The tracks show a clip on the menu which can be used to select that particular clip. The clip by default shows the first frame and I can successully change it to any frame within the track that I want.

But that's not want I want to do. I want to replace the clip image with a .jpg (or other format). The tool appears to allow this but I can't get it to work. If I right-click the clip I can select image and get a browser which allows me to select the .jpg file. But this doesn't do what I expect - the clip frame is still there and it seems that my .jpg has been merged or placed behind it.

Any ideas of how I can acheive what I want.

    Cheers,

    Nigel

After you have added the new clip (overlapped as it is!) go to Image>Clear thumbnail frame.

    BTW, thanks for the idea.

    Does that work for you?

That is what I tried at first, but this is what happens.

Right Click and select .jpg. My selected picture seems to be behind the thumbnail.

Right click and select 'Clear Thumbnail Frame'. My .jpg is deleted and the thumbnail remains.

What are you doing that is different?

    Cheers,

Strange! Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Try Edit, then Open File. That seems to work without overlapping.

    Thanks,

Got it working. I was adding frame rather than opening the thumbnail and opening the file from there.

    Cheers,
