Using TMPGEnc and after five minutes encoding (from DivX to DVD) it comes out the following error messages:

"Index of scan line is out of range (416)" and immediately after, "Invalid floating point calculation error".

I have already unselected Floting Point DCT as per is written in the Common Problems section but the problem remains there.

    Give me a hand, ok?

    Thanks a lot.-

    Pere.-

This is a Problem with a Bad frame in your Source file...
Tmpgenc is seeing at least one frame with a different resolution from the rest of the File and that is what the "Index of scan line is out of range (416)" Error means..I don"t know why it is saying that the Problem is on the 416th Scan Line Unless your DivX file has a Vertical resolution of 416 or maybe that is were the error was....

Tmpgenc doesn"t handle errors in source files very well so what you should do is use "Virtual-Dub" and use the "Scan File for Errors" Feature and see if there are any errors that it can Find....Virtual-Dub should automaticly Mask any bad frames in the AVI file and now you can try useing Virtual-Dub to frameserve the File to Tmpgenc, If Virtual-Dub can read the File properly then it will be able to frameserve the AVI file to Tmpgenc no problem and you should be able to encode it no problem.....
If you don"t know how to frameserve useing Virtual-Dub then let me know and I will explain it to you....Cheers
