HOw can I make an avi that is 676 mb into an mpeg2 that fits on my 4.7 gb DVD? Everytime I try to convert it, it ends up being HUGEm like 7 or 8 gb's. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Plz search before you post. Anyways, check out this guide, specifically the page I'm sending you.

    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd_page_4.cfm

When you go the bit rate settings, you get to select the type of dvd-r you are using. If you have a 4.7 GB dvd-r than you select that. Also, when you convert with TMPGEnc, it won't be authored, so you have to keep it at least 97% of 4.7 GB because when you author it, it will create two folders ready to be burned.

I would recommend TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 for authoring your dvd.

Just follow that page and choose the exact settings they have showed and you will get it right.
