I have been encoding mpg and avi clips to put on a standard dvd. It has been working great, however, I keep running into mpg clips as well as avi clips that cannot be encoded with audio by tmpenc xpress. Why can't tmpgenc xpress find the audio of these files and does anyone know what I can do about this?

    Would be very grateful

To put the long story short, encoding has much to do with what codecs you have and how good the encoding program you use is integrating with the codecs. If you don't have all the necessary codecs, try download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (full or mega version) from this site:

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

If you're sure you have all the necessary codecs, try use a more flexible encoder such as WinAvi.

    Good luck!
