Once you set Video Arrange Method to
[bold]Full screen (keep aspect ratio) [/bold]
the video won't be squeezed at all.

Ah, I don't know if KVCD.net changed them, but the KVCD templates contained in http://kvcd.net/dvd-models.html are for TMPGenc 2.5 , not for TMPGenc Xpress.
I assume the problem is caused by the fact that TMPGenc 2.5 by default has only 'Full screen' (bad configuration, instead), and instead Xpress has only 'Full Screen (k.a.r.)'.

its been a wile but i actualy figured out how to do it, its mad ghetto, youd think it would be easier in xpress 4. what you do is you go to the video resize option, choose custome size centerd and make it twice as tall, then when you go to the mpeg output settings you make that whatever the bigger vcd compatable size is, itsa like 500 something right?

you have to wip out the calculator to calculate the resize and then check the output after a few seconds to make sure you do it right, but itll work... i think.

as for the template, i found one online. but you can jsut go to kvcd.com and get the notch matrix and plug it in manualy. all my template is is that matrix, the rest i alwasy adjust for what im encoding.
