hey scouser!i recently bought the box but since i have it set up it freezes up on me makes a kind of a pop sound switches off and comes back on again after about 5 or 6 secs. i have the original starview set up in the sitting room that was in the bedroom but i never had that prob with it and i have that around 8 months now. have you any idea to whats causing this and is it damageing the box? by the way i only bought it on tues, i rang ur man who i bought it off and he's telling me he has no idea to why its doing that.

the correct firmware is on it since i bought it api ver 4.50Ee

 

Maybe you could download the 4.50 again and flash it to see if it helps

Snookers do as Celt has said but do a factory reset first then turn off the box and flash again as the symptoms you have are the left over off version 4 on the tsop.
