I just tried cloning my first DVD. I have Mac The Ripper and Toast 6. Whenever I've tried burning with Toast it keeps saying that there is a problem with the original file. I've tried a variety of Ripping combinations to no avail. Any ideas?

Couple of questions that might help get a good answer.

    1. What is the size of the file? You can only burn 4.x gigs onto a disk so if its a dual layer movie you need to shrink it.

    2. Are you ripping the full disk or movie only? I have heard that MTR doesn't like much of anything other than full disk.

    3. What file are you burning and what type of disk? You can take a VIDEO_TS folder and drop it right into the Toast window under the Data tab and select the UDF in the advanced pane on the side. Then just add a empty folder named AUDIO_TS.

Hope maybe this helps, if not go into a little more detail on your process. I have ripped and burned countless DVDs with only one exception (Blood in, Blood out).

I think I got my answers. I've been trying to burn it in the video tab, not the data tab. Thanks.
