Well heres the story ... I have had my box modded for about 6 months now ... I left the modded box at my friends house when he decided he would try and mess around with some shit ... Now when I start my box .. I get a black background .. with a white 16 in the top left along with green Service required. Call customer support. Ok so I try booting it up with a game inside ... Same thing .. how about with the tray open .. same thing ... All it does is flash red and green with that black and green screen. Did he toast my box or is there a way to fix it? ... If its toasted ... let me know what I need to replace inside it. Thanks

Sounds like you did a Softmod! The good News is 'Error 16': RTC Error is recoverable. You'll need to use whatever Game you used to Softmod Praying like Hell you never removed your Game Save Hack!!, That should allow you to get back into EvoX, then by proxy into the M$Dash to set your Clock. After you've done this there shouldn't see this Error again, unless you unplug your XBOX™ at Night.

How hard is it really?? Try Softmoding a XBOX™ and then leave it unpluged for ca. 45 Minuets to say 1 Hour. Then try connecting it again, and then turn it on. Then tell me it's not that hard to F*ck it up!

@ breakout1 do you have an XBOX Live!™ Game? You could try running that then, and try connecting to XBOX Live!™

Let this be a notice to you Softmoding n00bs: DO NOT EVER DELEATE YOUR SAVE GAME HACK!

The only way you can recover is to use your G.S.H. to reboot EvoX, and so regain FTP Access!! Then you need to either run the program 'BoxPlorer', or install it to the XBOX™, and then run it!!
Once in 'BoxPlorer' you need to insert a XBL!™ Game (I think most People should hava at least one Game by now that has Live! Support!)

Change the 'BoxPloer' Directory to D:\ (i.e. The DVD-ROM Drive), and locate the File 'Updatedash.xbe' You should run this by simply pressing the 'A Button'. This will reinstall the Dashboard.

Now if you have to reuse the S.G.H. again to reinstall such things as the PBL! (Phoenix BIOS Loader), again as all your Softmoding Hacks will have been over written.

I can only tell you one thing!!! I ain't ever ran into a Person yet to have an 'Error 16' who had a Modchip installed...[7i]
