just got clone phone from china and i cant get a network connection. the phone recognises the sims but wont allow a connection.have tried 3 different network sims.any help appreciated as cost of returning for refund negates rebate
I'm guessing as I don't have any info without the precise make and model.. tocco clone isn't good enough to identify the core hardware. Somewhere there is usually a network frequency setup.. try phone>systems>network>advanced... you will need to look up the band details for where you are. http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/archive/ra/topics/pmc/document/licencetypes/cellularinfo.htm The real thing is tri-band .. it's possible the clone isn't and doesn't work in your country. Have a hunt for the frequency settings.
