does this support HDMI 1.3 if not will i need an all new hd dvd player or just a receiver that supports HDMI 1.3 or both? I really want to TrueHD sound but am i hearing it at all with my regular receiver? thanks
eatsushi already explained this to you very well here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/530650 You do not need HDMI 1.3 to get Dolby True HD.
To save you some reading. The HD-A1 has analog outputs, and will decode the TrueHD tracks for you. No HDMI needed for TrueHD.
