I've just brought a toshiba laptop with a dvd burner. nero 6 picks it up but whenever i try to burn anything to a dvd i get a error message saying 'Could not start disc at once' Command Error. Any ideas.

    Cheers

    Chris.

use dvd shrink to bypass encryption and fit it on a dvd because nero does not handle css (the ecryption) then once u have the compressed files on your hdd use nero 6 dvd - other formats - video and copy the compress file to the window - burn

or if the disck is under 4.36 gb use dvd decrypter in iso mode and read the write the same file.

DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode under FILE options is better.
Just select main movie VOB (s) & title set IFO . then run thru either DVD2One or DVD Shrink to compress to 4.36Gb (which is needed most times)

I personally like how they demux the vob file to give u different easy to use options in the means of selecting wut audio, and subtiltes and video plus for nubs it is easier to use then dvd-decrypter. Altho when u get to understand this stuff better dvd-decrypter is faster.

How long u been using DVD shrink for because it is a reletively new feature. I dont use Deep analysis unless it is over 15% compression.
