Toshiba laptop screen is on but no back light

    my problem is i opened this laptop and soldered the earphone port on correctly and put everything back the way it should be and now i put the laptop on and the picture you can see faintly but there is no back light on and i opened it again and closed up checked everything again and again but still the same can anyone please help me.


    Toshiba Satellite M60- win 7 ult
    Intel Pentium M 750 @1.86 Ghz
    1 gigabyte of PC 4200 RAM
    Intel 915 PM Chipset 533 MHz front side bus speed
    Nvidia GeForce Go 6600 with 128 megabytes of RAM
    Toshiba ML1032GAS hard drive, 100 gigabytes 4,200 rpm TruBrite 17.0" wide-screen Native 1440x900 resolution

    Did you kill off the backlight inverter?
