A 4.7GB Single Layer DVD will hold up to two hours of recording, and slightly more with a reasonable amount of compression applied. However, you probably don't want to record anything longer than 150 minutes on a Single Layer DVD. Otherwise, the copy may look poor or become unplayable. Keep the copy over 80% quality. Otherwise, use a Split Mode and copy the program on two 4.7GB DVD's, or one 8.5GB Dual Layer DVD. Here's the program I use. http://www.dvdfab.com/download.htm 30day free trial.
