I have a dvd of my son's school program that was given to me by someone else that recorded it because I didn't have a video camera at the time. I would like to import or rip it into my computer so I can edit it and make it into another DVD. I recently bought Adobe premire elements to edit in. I tried using the DVD decrypter but I got several files which I wasn't able to import, I suppose because the format is not supported. This doesn't sound like it should be a hard task, but I have not been able to succeed. Can someone help?

first you need to rip your dvd to into an avi file
with e.g. xilisoft dvd ripper http://www.xilisoft.com/
then you can import it into premiere elements.

    Doesn't Premiere accept mpeg's?
    It should.
Demux the DVD with ReJig, and import into Premiere. Edit as needed
