I am using Flash FXP to 'backup' xbox games via direct rip, through a router to my pc's hard drive for burning. I am getting transfer speeds around 600 kbs but it still takes about 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours to rip a whole game. Is this just the way it is or is there some way to make it faster. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

Use Quix and Avalaunch. It'll take about 15 minutes.

I'd like to install Avalaunch, but I have a soft-modded xbox and all I can find is tutorials that discuss mod chips and bios flashing. Can I even install Avalaunch without a mod chip? If so, how would I go about it? Right now I have the original ms-dashboard still on C:\ and UnleashX intalled on E:\. I wouldn't mind replacing UnleashX with Avalaunch but I have no idea where to start.
