i have a video game on my pc and the file path is on the internal hard drive (C). so i play it from the computers internal hard drive.

I want to transfer the game path so all of the content are saved on an external drive (Q). So when i play the game i will be playing it from the external hard drive.

The problem is i don't want to unintstall and reinstall. is there away to just transfer everything without uninstalling the game from the internal drive and reinstalling it on the external drive? The reasons is because i have added many add on's to the game that i would have to manually reinstall which would take me days.

    please help

    thanks

yes u can just find where the game is installed on you pc normally under programs then copy and paste it over to theexternal drive just make sure that you move your saved games folder as well as sometimes this file could be somewhere else normally in your documents folder
