I'M TRYING TO TRANSFER SOME FAMILY VHS FROM SPAIN BUT THEY ARE IN THE PAL SYSTEM, I COPIED THEM WITH ROXIO BUT CAN'T CHANGE THE SYSTEM. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT TO DO?

Did you find that the all caps version was more difficult to read even though you knew what to expect? Did you notice the all caps version takes up two more printed lines, as well? If you’re not convinced, do a little survey .
If you have a PAL VCR then you can capture them straight to NTSC if you want. If you already have the file captured than you can re-encode it with the proper NTSC settings.

hi, you could import the footage into a video edting program such as adobe premire and then recode the video to ntsc. i am sure the older members will say there is a easier way to to do this, but for a inexperienced user premeire elements 2 or 3 will do a good job for you. good luck.
