Thanks for the info. I'll be watching it tonight on my new Toshiba HD-A35. We watched in the movie theater, and loved it.

Has anyone been able to decrypt Transformers in HD DVD? The latest dvdfab hd just sits there like a lump for me and anydvd hd tells me that I need to update my aacs keys for it. As far as I'm aware the dvdfab hd beta hit the scene after transformers was released on hd dvd.

They are probably intending to watch it on the HTPC, and have no intention of burning it. Or you can encode it on multiple DVD9.

With Hard drives as cheap as they are now I've decided to store all my HD and bluray movies on hdd. Until such time as i can get my head around x.264 and compress them to a practical size. In the meantime this new copy protection MKBv4 is proving a bit of a pain. Anydvd will read and allow playback of the disc but i can't rip it with dvd fab platinum even the latest version. Nor can i rip it with anydvd. Can anyone help?

vamsilak, If you don't have a HDCP compliant monitor/tv with HDMI connection or an HDCP enabled video card you will also need anydvd to play HD-DVD or Blu-ray.
