I have Canon PowerShotA95 & for very 1st time I need to transfer same exact pics that were transfered to PC from digital camera back to the camera. I've tried drag/drop copy/paste but nothing works. Do I need to do anything special or need special software/hardware to allow me to transfer pics from pc back to camera. BTW) My pc doesn't have memory card reader but have pleny of usb ports.
I have a Canon A85 and it doesn't allow transfer from the PC to the camera. What I do is remove the memory card from the camera and insert it in a card reader connected to the PC. The memory card appears as another device under 'My Computer'. Browse to the folder on the card where the pics are stored (take a picture with the camera as an aid to finding the correct folder) now you can add jpg images to the card, restore the card to the camera and view them.
Thank you for your reply. So I guess I need to get myself external CF card reader & connect it to pc via USB port since my pc doesn't have card reader.
