Spy sweeper finds trojan downloader zlob every time I scan the computer. It says that the downloader is deleted but then on the next scan it shows up again. I haven't gotten many symptoms though. If I learned something on this forum, then I think is isaddon.dll is bad right? Yeah, that's the culprit. Get AVGAS and SmitfraudFix(v2.112). Restart in safe mode and run AVGAS first to remove Zlob. Then, run Option 2 with SmitfraudFix to remove the trojan codec.

How about Zlob? Was it destroyed by AVGAS? If so, turn off System Restore because that is most likey the reason it keeps coming back. It makes alot of copies in the System Restore folder. Right click My Computer > Properties > System Restore tab > check "Turn off System Restore". Click Apply then OK. Fix these with HjT. Alright, I used automatic updates and got 21 updates, also microsoft.com says I can get SP2 from automatic updates, so I'm pretty sure I got it. Yes, AVG said it got Zlob so I'm pretty sure it's gone Here is a new HJT log just to check if I am clean. Yeah, you're clean, but still haven't got SP1 or SP2. From the HjT log: Platform: [bold]Windows XP[/bold] (WinNT 5.01.2600) When you get a SP it will show as "SP1 or SP2" in the log. Go here to get SP2. One other thing also. I don't see a firewall running. Another major security issue. You may have the Windows firewall running, but it's not good enough because it doesn't have outgoing protection. Plus, it is eaisly turned off by malware. Here are a few offered for free: Zone Alarm Free <- My personal favorite. Agnitum Outpost Firewall Kerio Personal Firewall Edit: I also don't see an anti-virus running. Do you have one?
