I have followed all the steps necessary to boot up with the evox dashboard but nothing has changed. i ftp'ed the evox.ini and evoxdash.xbe to the C drive of my xbox. I took the cd out, turned off the xbox, and then restarted the xbox but it booted up just like normal with same screens. What do I need to do to make the xbox boot up with Evox? The xbox still boots up using xboxdash.xbe. What should I do to make it use the evoxdash.xbe? Thanks a ton in advance, Michael
you have only installed the dashboard you need to install the softmod,or it will just load up the normal dash(if you had installed the softmod the green dash would be deleted so you can't have installed it properly)
I thought a softmod was only needed in place of a chip. I was told that I needed to reflash my chip with an updated bios. Is a softmod still necessary? I tried to reflash my chip using flashX but received the message "No X2 found or chip protected."
