I have recently ran into some trouble backing up some of my DVD's. I have a Vaio RS620G computer and I use DVDDecrypter and DVD Shrink. Most of the time it copies to the hard drive just fine and then it will give me Write and I/O errors. The drive that I am using is a Pioneer DVR-107D and it has the newest firmware flash. On the last movie that I tried, which was Kung Fu Hustle, it would not even copy to the hard drive. The other strange thing is that my room mate has the same computer that was purchased a month after mine with the same drives will copy and burn them all just fine. Is my computer just being picky or should I try some other software?

    Hi mein968,

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/220264 the link I provided is related to kung fu hustle. There you will find methods other folks here on AD used to back that movie up. Also a suggestion would be to use the search function at the top of the page if you have questions regarding certain popular movies. And yes anydvd will help you rip this movie.

Thanks a lot guys. I got the movie to rip onto my room mates computer then I transfered it to mine and it backed up just fine. I will try running the AnyDVD in the back ground when I do this from now on. Thanks again
