Trouble Capturing Sound

    I have tried several different trial versions of software for capturing and burning a DVD. I am capturing from a Hi8 Sony analog camcorder. I have recorded some great video. However there is no sound. I have tried tinkering with the sound settings on my computer with no luck.I would appreciate any advice that would solve this problem.

    Couple of questions: what programs do you use and is your video in DivX or DVD-format? Are videos OK when watching from computer?
