I've extracted archived iso's before, and burned them with no problems. However, on a couple of occasions, upon opening the archive, instead of finding a bunch more archives (open one, click the contents to extract the whole iso) I find an nfo & sfv (expected) and then a bunch of files which I can't recognise. Winrar describes the file type as 'file 001, file 002....file 033' etc. Does anyone know how to create the iso with these file-types? I've extracted everything to folder and used Qwix to create the iso but no joy, the console doesn't recognise it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Try to extract those (001, 002, etc) with winrar again. See what happens. Also, what version of Winrar are you using? Did you see this thread...? http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/152752
I ran into that same problem a day ago..i figured out that the file i downloaded wasnt "complete" even though it said complete..
@matador - tried renaming and extracting with7-zip, no luck.... @br7 - extracted again, same story. I'm using winrar v3.41 btw.... @ravoz - although I verified there were no corrupt or missing files with pdsfv, i think you may be right. I'll dl once more, for curiosity's sake! TYVM for your time and effort guys
