    Hey all

Hopefully one of you can help me with ripping Session 9.

I have tried with 3 different programs. DVD Shrink gives me a CRC error when trying to read the disk. DVD Decrypter gives me the I/O error and then it stops. Lastly, DVD Fab Decrypter just stops at about file 1_3 and I have no reason why. I cleaned the disk and all. Is there anyway I can find out what kind of protection is on the disc? Then I might be able to find a solution. Or are there any better programs for ripping these protected videos?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi kolina04
Sounds like you have a bad disc - this one has nothing special on it. Older one from 2001?
If you have another drive try that one - some are better than other at ripping 'bad' spots.
Decrypter is one of the better rippers for 'bad' discs imho so since you tried 3 w/ the same result best bet may be to exchange for a new one.

Yeah, that is what I thought. I tried this RitIt4Me program too and that said that some portions of the disc couldn't be ripped that weren't scrabled by protection or whatever. so i might try some other programs.

    Thanks though :)

    No problemo kolina04 :)
You might want to try buffing out the disc w/ something non abrasive and see if that helps.
