    Hi Guys
    Burner- Gigabyte GO-W0404a Dual 4speed
Software- DVDXcopy xpress platinum + nero
    Verbatum DVD-r DatalifePlus
    Copies everything ok. Burns ok.
Play back is fantastic for the first hour on any stand alone DVD player. After that the picture becomes jerky and sound crashes. Remove the burnt DVD play a purchased DVD then replace the burnt one to watch the rest of the movie. Its like the player gets to hot or it has read the maximum info and has to be reset.
Hope I have explained this ok
    Any clues?

What's your burn speed? If you're burning at 4X this could be the problem. Try 2X burn and as suggested try different media. I've used Verbatim successfully.

    poidas,

Is that on a single standalone player or a couple ??

If you have only 1 player plus PC check player.

If more than 1 standalone, check disc for smudges if you have already corrected by lowering burning speed.

Remember. They come with a lifetime guarantee - send them back and they'll ship replacements out right away (even if it isn't your discs that are at fault, they'll ship replacements). Extremely good products they are -
