Hi everyone, I am trying to backup a dvd. I used DVDFab Decrypter, then used shrink 3.2, then after about 15mins of decoding this error comes up. Any help would be appreciated. This thread speaks to the problem. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/325848 Also your burner, DMA needs turned on
I worked out how to edit it thank you Did I remove the serial number? this DMA how do I turn it on? Thank you for every bit of help
I think the burner is on the secondary Right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > IDE Controllers > Secondary , Properties, 'Uninstall' Reboot and Windows reinstalls the drivers. You can run Nero Info Tool, select 'Configuration' tab and check status of DMA.
I uninstalled and rebooted. the primary IDE channel : transfer mode: DMA if available : current transfer mode:Ultra DMA mode 5 the secondary IDE channel: transfer mode: PIO only : current transfer mode: PIO mode when I check Nero DMA manager : IDE channel : secondary : position : master and the enable box is unchecked.
Go into the BIOS setup (reboot, tap [Del] key )and check the settings on the Primary and Secondary Controllers. They should be set "Auto".
