At the moment i cant seem to be able to back up any of the latest sony films. ie death in paradise, the last 3 that i have had i haven't been able to back up. I use dvd shrink and the latest version of anydvd.
Have you tried DVD Fab Decrypter? If neither work, chances are you need to wait for an update to be released.
I have used AnyDVD on the latest Sonys. What you need to do is rip a file to the harddrive with AnyDVD. Then use a free program call FixVTS to correct stucture problems. You can then use Shink. The FabDVDHDDecrypter (free version) will also do all of these movies. When I use that I also run through FixVTS and then Shrink. You will find some of the newer Lionsgate films need to be done this way also.
Don't recall having any trouble with the latest Sony DVD's especially Death in Paradise. I just use AnyDVD, DVDShrink and Nero. No problem at all. Only problem I have is with my older DVD's that I had before I started backing up my DVD's, scratches.
