Can anybody help an old duffer. I have a copy of a friends sky dive video on my sony vaio laptop running windows xp pro and I coppied it to a Kingston data traveller memory stick and then tried to play it on my desk top running windows xp home and I get the message "Windows cannot open this file". The file I click to play the file on the laptop has a _TS extension. Any advice welcome
Try opening the file with either Media Player Classic... http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/media_player_classic.cfm ...or VLC player, available via google search. TS is short for Title Set, such as VIDEO_TS. This format should actually be a folder that contains VOB's, IFO's etc.
