Hi .. I have a video file that is labeled TS.-maven.kvcd and it says that it is an mpeg, but when i try to burn it using RecordNow it gives me an error stating that it "is not in the right video cd format, that is should be NTSC 352 x 288 25 Hz ir PAL 352 x 240 23.97 or FILM 352 x 240 23.97 and the Audio must be 22(44) KHz, stereo." Nero gives me a simple "not specified format" error. I am new new to buring mpeg files, I have done it many times. What could be the problem? The file plays clearly (video and audio) on my computer using Windows Media Player. Thank you for any help ...
Hi .. I forgot to mention that I have tried TMPGEnc Plus and it tells me that the file cannot be created.
loxley i dont know anything about record now max but presumably it will have an option to burn vcd. just choose this but make sure that you uncheck (if it allows you) the option that will probably say something along the lines of "create standard compliant vcd". it should then burn to cd no problems. you may get a warning that will say not proper format but go ahead and burn. The disc should play fine. kvcd are not standard compliant format that is why you have to burn them slightly differently -most software will not properly recognise the format or try and refomat it but you dont need that. i use nero to burn kvcd and the instructions i have given are based on my knowledge of nero. good luck
