I have a gateway laptop with the above dvd burner installed in it. I am getting a write error every time i try to burn something. It does not matter if it is a audio cd or a mp3 cd or even a dvd it will not burn. I am pretty good at building a machine and setting it up and I can build small networks but this one is a little out of my territory mainly because I have not had to deal with anything like this. Please advise. I have been told that it could just need a firmware update but it could also be a dead burner. Please help!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you in advance
above is a link to various versions of firmware for your dvd rw- I recentely purchased the TS-L532U ga03 model-& the flash worked for me. Make sure you only use the correct update for your model. Good luck
