Anyone know if it's possible and if so how? Got mine a year ago only to find freeview wasn't available in my area, so I put it away until it was. Unfortunately, I left the batteries in the remote and they leaked destroying it compleatly. Now freeview ia available and I can't find a way of tuning the box in that doesn't involve the remote that I no longer have. I've tried 4 different universal remotes with no success. Any ideas will be greatfuly recieved.
if its reasonably new and you say you got it last year then chances are no you cant tune it without a remote control.are you sure the remote is beyond repair(you could take it to a tv repair shop, but you would most likely buy a new one cheaper)you could try http://www.mr-remote.com/ he may have a new replacement. you could try ebay or google it . i hope its ok to post this link(as it may be usefull to many on here).
