Thank you. I tried to make the xbox screenshots bigger in photoshop but they started to get distorted. When I took my snapshots via the TV USB adapter I guess that was the default size. Anyway, I hope it's helps explains the process a little better for all members who need it.

    Hi
I have changed over my dash to EvolutionX to follow your instructions letter by letter

But still wont let me in
I am looking at my settings network now and I see that it is connected static
    ip 192.168.1.223
    line status 100/Full Duplex
    Ethernet mac address 00:50:F2:67:F4:0D

    above is my computer IP

My Xbox is now set to
    IP 192.168.1.105
    subnet auto 255 etc
    default gateway 192.168.1.223
    DNS 192.168.1.223

the password looks like uppercase XBOX I have also tried that
I can not find anywhere that I can view my username i.e. XBOX

    Any further suggestions please

    Scub

As far as I know, the xbox by default has been username: xbox and password: xbox (both lower case). Unless you have maunually changed them.

Are you creating your connection over a router or via direct connection with a crossover cable?

    @uniique1

maybe you need to state that in the guide you need to allow the FTP program your using to excepted the program so it dosent block it out. Great user guide as it is but problay would even be more help.

Well the easiest way to do it through a router is set your xbox to DHCP, restart and you should be good.

yea but is is at DHCP

If you want to continue to use the settings of DHCP:
Set your xbox to a Static IP address, save it, restart. Then put the settings back to DHCP, restart and you should be good to go.

If you want to use Static settings, just follow the steps I gave you to do so, restart your xbox and you should be set.

    [bold]QUESTION?[/bold]
How do you have your modem and your router set up? The LAN connection goes out of your modem and into...? Relay to me your entire setup. I just wanna make sure yu're plugged up right.
