<html> <body> <FONT SIZE=3><P>Tutorial on how to softmod using Splinter Cell</P> <P>What is needed<p> Xbox<p> Splinter Cell<p> Action Replay or another way to get saved games to your xbox<p> And the Splinter Cell softmod installer which can be found <a href="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/splintercellsaves.rar">here</a><p> (note: delete all splinter cell saves u might have on your xbox) </P> <P>Step 1<p> Open the .rar file u downloaded with the game saves extract them to your desktop so its easy like this</P> <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/xbox2.JPG"> <P>Step 2<p> Once you have downloaded the Splinter Cell Game Saves(installer) And you have installed the action replay software to your pc Go to the directory of action replay game saves which should be C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay XBOX\Saves You should see something like this (note: yours will probably have a lot more files I deleted most of mine)</P> <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/step1xbox.JPG"> <P>Step 3<p> (Note: Ok for some odd reason my AR wouldn’t recognize the splinter cell games saves but they were still there I don’t know if this will happen for you either way it still works.) In your Datel game saves folder double click any zip folder and go into the UDATA folder you will see the game saves of which ever game u went into Delete these Saves and drag one of the splinter cell saves into the folder like this. (note do this for both saves and use 2 different game folders I used 4x4evo and advent rising) </P> <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/xboxs1.JPG"><P> <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/xboxs2.JPG"><P> <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/xboxs3.jpg"><P> <P>Step 4<P> Open up actions replay with your memory card connected Click which ever game save you put the installer in I used 4x4evo so that’s what in the pic below (note as you can see AR still reads it as the game save but when you drag it over it changes to the installer)</P> <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/xboxstep4save.JPG"><P> <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/xbox/xboxstep4save2.JPG"><P> <P>Step 5<P> Ok now that its copied to the memory card go copy it onto your xbox Do the same process with both saves After u have both save on your xbox Put in splinter cell Press start game and click checkpoints You will come to the soft mod menu Pick unleashx, nk patcher .06 and back your eeprom and your C and when finished just reboot your xbox and there you go. <P>Now Your Finished.</P></FONT></body> </HTML> </body> </html>
ok my saves file looks like this http://www.uploadengine.com/getfile.php?file=1129412276A197E.bmp and there are no UDATA files in them do u have instant messenger?
